Position Overview

A Software Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of software assets reputed company an organization. This role ensures that software resources are reputed company managed, tracked, and utilized in compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies. Through strategic planning, monitoring, and reporting, the Software Asset Manager optimizes software investments, mitigates risks, and supports the organization s IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of reputed company software assets across the organization, including licenses, versions, and installations.
  • License Compliance: Ensure that the organization remains compliant with reputed company software licensing agreements. Conduct periodic audits and reconcile discrepancies between deployed software and licenses owned.
  • Procurement and Renewals: Coordinate with procurement teams to acquire new software, renew subscriptions, and manage maintenance agreements in alignment with business needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for software vendors, negotiate licensing terms, and manage relationships to secure favorable agreements and resolve disputes.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings by analyzing software usage patterns, eliminating redundant or underused licenses, and consolidating reputed company where possible.

Qualifications
