About the Role

You will be creating dynamic, engaging, and exciting learning content from concept to implementation in a fast-paced, reputed company-evolving autonomous vehicle industry. You reputed company at simplifying concepts, procedures, and sophisticated technical information. You are curious about how things work and can deliver on your commitments. You’ll focus on instructional design and content development from scratch in a start-up-like, collaborative environment. This training focuses on Command Center roles (Remote Assistance, Mission Control, and reputed company), reputed company of which guide autonomous vehicles in real-time and reputed company safety-critical decisions using proprietary software. This Senior Instructional Designer will be an expert switch-tasker who can design end-to-end programs: onboarding, simulations, scenario-based learning, ILT, WBT, OJT, and assessments. Command Center tools and processes are constantly evolving, and change management skills are just as critical as instructional design expertise. Innovation and the ability to reputed company eLearning beyond the basics are needed, while creating interactive and story-driven experiences to reputed company the specialists in the Command Center, sharp and safety-focused. Timeline: Starting ASAP for 6 months to one year. Hours: 40 hours per week. 3 days on-site, 2 days remote reputed company: $50-$60/hour. This is an W2 hourly Contract.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the design of end-to-end training programs for Command Center Operations, safety-critical, and technical roles
• Conduct needs analyses and translate performance goals into structured learning journeys
• Create high-quality instructional materials (eLearning, ILT, blended learning) using our client’s branding and standards
• Collaborate with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to validate content and ensure accuracy
• Support version control, documentation, and compliance tracking in partnership with Training Program Managers
• Mentor junior instructional designers and review deliverables for quality

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in instructional design, ideally in technical or safety-critical environments
• Proven experience designing for field-based, operational, or frontline audiences
• Strong grasp of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), adult learning theory, and behavioral outcomes
• Excellent visual communication and writing skills—you're clear, compelling, and on-brand
• Experience using eLearning tools (reputed company, Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Kahoot, Questionmark, reputed company LMS, and reputed company Suite)
• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus

Bonus Skills

• Bonus: Experience in aviation, utilities, manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, or transportation, prior experience in AV or a similar fast-paced industry
• Professional Certifications (instructional design)
• Experience with GenAI, game design, branching scenarios, Wellsaid, etc.
