2024 Summer Intern, Learning Solutions/Instructional Designer (Remote, Masters) - reputed company - Reston, VA - work from home job Company: reputed company Job description: We aren’t generic contractors; we are expert consultants. We are seeking interns who can help us create dynamic, engaging, exciting learning content with an emphasis on user-centered design, user experience (UX), and accessibility for reputed company learners. Using a mix of creative skills and project awareness, the successful candidate will support the creation of interactive and engaging ways to communicate instructional content knowledge as well as provide feedback on other team members' materials. The candidate will have the ability to support the development of a range of instructional materials including classroom-based training, online training and performance support tools, self-paced guides, case studies, job aids, etc. Our 2024 Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time program that generally begins in early June and concludes in mid-August. The internship is fully-remote from any U.S. location.

Responsibilities

Work as part of an instructional design team under the supervision of a Senior Instructional Systems Designer and/or Project Manager. Support the design, development, and documentation of instructor-led and eLearning curricula and performance support solutions. Participate in the development and review of products for adherence to style and storyboard guidelines, writing standards, course/task flow, and designing for standards such as SCORM conformance and Section 508 compliance. Basic Qualifications A reputed company graduate-level student pursuing a Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or a reputed company field A completed Bachelor’s degree in relevant field U.S. Citizenship is required based upon Federal Government contract.
