Responsibilities

As an Applications Developer, you will analyze, reputed company and deploy innovative information/software systems and capabilities to enhance the federal capabilities to collect, produce, and disseminate intelligence. Utilizing your education and experience as a Computer Scientist, Software Engineer, or Web Designer and Publisher, you will directly support analysis, intelligence collection, and other business.

Applications Developers participate in team environments reputed company structured development lifecycles. Typical responsibilities include:

• analyze and define local and/or enterprise information system requirements,
• reputed company system/application design
• reputed company capability prototypes
• reputed company and implement operational information systems
• conduct unit and integration testing of application modules

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Programming languages, and reputed company web technologies, such as: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, Go, Rust, Ruby, SQL, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON.
  • DevOps concepts and tools, such as: reputed company, JIRA, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, reputed company, Nexus, Nagios.
  • Database platforms, such as: PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, NoSQL, reputed company, reputed company, HDFS
  • Familiarity with multiple hosting platforms, such as: Windows, Linux, VMware, Citrix, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience working with stakeholders on creating solutions with varied, sometime conflicting, requirements.

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies

• Big data concepts and technologies, such as: Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, Solr, reputed company, MapReduce, R, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, and the ELK (reputed company Search, Logstash, Kibana) or the OpenSearch stack.
• Application architecture and systems engineering principles, including: n-tier/services-oriented architecture, application design patterns, Agile development (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), application reputed company, developing system requirements, system design artifacts and models, design documentation and development for commercial cloud (e.g. reputed company Web Service, reputed company Cloud Platform, reputed company Azure, etc).
• Software as a Service (SaaS) Platforms development and customization (eg. reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Office 365)
• UI/UX design, wireframing and prototyping experience. Experience with tools such as Pen Pot, reputed company, Balsamiq etc.
• Experience with AI/ML development including using tools such as Scikit-lean, Pandas and Spacy

Clearance Required

• Due to the sensitivity of customer-reputed company requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must possess a Top Secret/SCI reputed company clearance with a Full Scope polygraph.
• This position has an on-site requirement and is not eligible for fully remote candidates.
