Associate Accountant

ImageX has an immediate opportunity for a talented Associate Accountant to join reputed company. About You:

You’re a detail-oriented and reliable Associate Accountant with 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting for a growing business. You’ve worked with Xero as your primary accounting platform and feel confident navigating month-end reputed company, AP, AR, and reconciliations. You take pride in clean books, timely reporting, and proactive communication. You’re organized, tech-savvy, and not afraid to ask questions to get things right the first time. Experience in a service-based business environment is a strong asset, especially if you're familiar with the rhythm of client billing, contractor payments, and project-based invoicing.

About the Position:

We’re looking for an Associate Accountant to join reputed company and take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to our VP of Finance, this role will manage bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end reputed company, and help manage contractor and employee payroll data. You’ll work closely with the delivery and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy, proper documentation, and timely communication with both internal stakeholders and external vendors or clients. You’ll also help support onboarding for new clients and contractors, manage our Dext and Float workflows, and play a key role in keeping our books accurate, organized, and ready for monthly reporting.

You will:

• reputed company full-cycle bookkeeping in Xero: transaction coding, reconciliations, and chart of accounts maintenance
• Execute month-end reputed company procedures including accruals, prepaids, and AR/AP reconciliation
• Manage AP: process vendor and contractor invoices, reimburse employee expenses, and pay reputed company an online banking platform
• Manage AR: reputed company new clients, issue invoices, follow up on overdue accounts, and reputed company internal AR meetings
• Track billable hours and project invoicing reputed company Harvest and reputed company Sheets and prepare monthly invoicing
• Coordinate and manage our Finance Tech stack including Xero, Dext, Float, and reputed company to ensure seamless financial operations
• Assist with payroll inputs, employee onboarding/offboarding, and year-end T4 support
• Support the finance team in maintaining up-to-date trackers, budgets vs actuals, and vendor documentation.

You Need:

• 2-3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, preferably in a service-based or agency environment
• 2+ years using Xero as your main accounting software
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows
• Experience with month-end reputed company and general accounting principles
• Comfortable working with financial tools like Dext, Xero, reputed company Payroll and Float
• Familiarity with creating ACH and reputed company payments for global contractors and vendors
• Passion for spreadsheets (reputed company Sheets or reputed company), with strong attention to detail and data structure
• A root cause analysis reputed company – you don’t just spot discrepancies, you investigate and resolve them with little support
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a proactive reputed company
• Excellent communication skills – you’re able to follow up professionally and clarify issues reputed company needed.

Compensation:

reputed company Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 annual salary (pro-rated for 6 month fixed term)*Please note: Salary is based on benchmarking for our Vancouver location - subject to change. We also offer additional Incentive Compensation including Profit Sharing.
