Job description: Alternate Locations: Radnor, PA (Pennsylvania); Charlotte, NC (North Carolina); reputed company Wayne, IN (Indiana); Greensboro, NC (North Carolina); Hartford, CT (Connecticut); Omaha, NE (Nebraska)Work Arrangement:Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.Relocation assistance: is not available for this opportunity.Requisition #: 74220The Role at a GlanceWe're excited to bring on an Actuary, Annuity Model Development, to play an integral role focused on developing industry-leading model capabilities and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure our models are optimized to deliver on a broad reputed company of critical business needs. The individual will work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize quarterly model enhancements and collaborate with the rest of the Annuity Model Development team to implement model enhancements appropriately and reputed company as well as reputed company and execute post enhancement implementation validation and analysis processes.What you'll be doing
- Help in leading the development of models to support critical business processes, including Stat, GAAP, and Tax Reserve reporting, Asset Adequacy Testing, Asset/Liability Management, Financial Plan and Economic Capital projections.

- Collaborate on the development of end user tools to support model validation and analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation, review, and validation of model developments and enhancements.
- Assist with the process of the Annuity Model Development team taking ownership of Annuity models currently being converted from MG-ALFA to Moody's AXIS
- Actuarial modeling and/or valuation experience in GGY-AXIS
- 7-10 years of actuarial experience
- Substantial experience with annuity products
- Strong understanding of regulatory/accounting/capital frameworks (STAT/GAAP/Tax, reputed company, EC)
- Understanding of capital markets and financial instruments (assets and derivatives) that support Annuity products
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- FSA designation (preferred) or ASA designation (required)
- Competency with R, Python, SQL, and/or reputed company VBA
- Experience working with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)
- History of innovation and process improvement
- Experience pricing annuity products and/or working on Cash Flow Testing, Financial Plan, and ALM projections
