Senior Systems Engineer - Murex

See yourself in our team: We are a group of specialist engineers in charge of delivering complex solutions for our New York Office across Global Markets & Treasury Murex platform running on Cloud infrastructure. We are a highly agile team with DevSecOps mindset and ensure that solutions adhere to enterprise standards. We?re interested in hearing from people who: ? Have 5yrs + hands-on experience working on the technical architecture and functional features of Murex Front Office OR Back Office module. (Ideally blend of both) ? Pride themselves on their financial markets background across a range of asset classes such as Interest Rates Derivatives, Foreign Exchange Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Securities Finance ? Understanding of rate curve assignments, simulation enhancements, debugging PNL discrepancies, Etradepad configuration, and change management ? Understanding business requirements around Front-Office, Valuation Adjustments and Credit Risk (Potential Future Exposures) ? Experience with OSP workflows, payments, and confirmations a bonus ? Are confident articulating non-functional requirements and identifying improvements for the resiliency and performance of Murex FO or BO module ? Pride themselves on designing and developing Murex configurations and solutions ? Are constantly collaborating with cross-functional teams whilst providing support and guidance to team members in New York and at times London. Tech Skills: Apart from required Murex skills, we use a broad range of tools; experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team: ? Murex Front office ? Technical Pretrade rules, OSP workflows, Datamart extraction layers ? AWS Cloud infrastructure ? SQL Skills, Shell scripting ? Engineering tools such as GitHub (CoPilot), Observe, Obstack ? Agile ways of working and DevSecOps mindset ? The salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
