Summary

Under the direction of the VP, Specialty Operations, the manager will serve as pharmacist-in-charge for the assigned pharmacy overseeing and assisting with reputed company pharmacy operations such as prescription intake, benefits investigations, prior authorizations, pharmacist initial and final verification, and prescription fulfillment. Additionally, this leader is responsible for ensuring excellence in patient care to our members and manages the pharmacy team to ensure our work complies with regulatory requirements and various industry standards. The manager will monitor, reputed company, and train staff on standard operating procedures. This leader is at the forefront, driving process improvement through setting the agenda and targets in consultation with specialty pharmacy leadership. Licensed pharmacist eligible to hold pharmacist-in-charge designation ? Will be given 180 days from hire to obtain additional pharmacist licensure as required ? Five years of experience in pharmacy practicing as a pharmacist ? Experience in a specialty pharmacy is preferred ? Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once. ? Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously. ?
