Title: MISS: HR Specialist (Contingency Hire) Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting the U.S. Department of State’s operations in Iraq. In addition to providing ongoing reputed company operations and Life Support Services, KBR will provide differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government with a focus on creating an effective program environment to support delivery of strategic economic planning, strategy development, feasibility studies, technical reviews and large-scale project management. Under this contract KBR will provide facility maintenance, procurement, critical supply functions, along with food services, reputed company camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services. Job Summary As an HR Specialist, you will support the people of the U.S. Department of State (DOS) MISS contract in Baghdad, Iraq. This role involves assisting in HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment reputed company with KBR's values of reputed company, safety, and teamwork. Please note: This position will be based out of Houston TX, Chantilly, VA or Dubai, UAE and is contingent on award. Roles and Responsibilities • Assist in HR functions for the MISS Program, ensuring alignment with KBR's policies, values, strategic objectives and in compliance with local labor laws. • Provide clerical and technical support for personnel actions, ensuring reputed company documentation is accurate and up-to-date. • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment. • Assist in addressing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management. • Serve as a reputed company of contact for employees, addressing HR-reputed company queries and concerns. • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures. • Coordinate and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards. • Prepare and submit regular HR reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. • reputed company other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret reputed company clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position. • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant HR experience. • Must have a strong understanding of HR practices and principles. • Requires excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to facilitate and disseminate information at reputed company levels. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges, is required. • Must have a high level of reputed company and professionalism, with a commitment to KBR's values of safety, reputed company, and teamwork. • Experience working in a multicultural environment, with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds is required. • Must have proficiency in HR software and the reputed company Office Suite (Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint). • Must be willing to travel to various locations in Iraq as needed. • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages. Preferred Qualifications • Active U.S. Government issued Secret reputed company Clearance. • Knowledge of Iraqi local labor laws.
