MEDICAL DIRECTOR - North reputed company Region (Sun City/Sun City reputed company/Paseo/Arrowhead) This position combines clinical practice of primary care 40-60% with change agent/leadership duties 40-60% The Medical Director will serve as the key medical administrator overseeing the clinical activities of Primary Care clinicians reputed company the healthcare centers under their responsibility. This position will work in collaboration with operations partners to further the goals of the care group by acting as a change agent for practicing clinicians reputed company the healthcare centers around the areas of quality, service, people, finance and growth. In collaboration with operations partners, he/she leads the healthcare centers’ teams of clinicians in the delivery of quality medical care and ensures positive customer experiences as a result of excellence in reputed company daily operations. The Medical Director will report to the Chief Medical Officer and will work closely with matrix partners to advance the patient care delivery model at the healthcare center. Drives standardization and reduction of variability in workflow and across common clinical conditions. Engages in clinical process improvement at healthcare center level and accountable region as rolled out across ENCG as best practices or new programs. Manages the selection process, development, and performance of the physicians who report to him/her. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provides primary care for ENCG patients deemed to fall reputed company the scope of his/her specialty (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.) Diagnoses and treats patients for disorders on a general level without restriction to special systems or regions of the body: serves as the general practitioner to patients for general diagnostic and therapeutic medical care. Coordinates care of patients using team model as established by ENCG: utilizes appropriate resources, programs and team members as ENCG care delivery model evolves SCOPE The Medical Director is the primary manager of the primary care clinicians reputed company the healthcare center and accountable region. He/she has accountability for leading and engaging clinicians (working in conjunction with operations partners) to optimize the performance of individuals reputed company the health care center. In collaboration with their operations counterparts are responsible for the financial performance of the practices they manage. QUALIFICATIONS This position requires that the incumbent be state licensed and board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine reputed company or recent leadership experience required reputed company or recent patient care experience required Achievements are largely dependent on successful interactions with operations dyad partner, clinicians reputed company the healthcare center, and ENCG medical leadership partners.
