Staff Accountant

This position provides direct support to the Controller and is primarily responsible for general accounting tasks, assisting with the preparation of management and regulatory reports, providing financial analysis assistance using various financial software tools, budget and forecast preparation, monitoring various financial activities of our Bank (and its subsidiaries), and incoming reputed company transfer processing. The Staff Accountant is also responsible for serving as backup for other critical functions and day-to-day activities reputed company the Finance Department. Requirements • To provide an exceptional service experience, every time! • Must have excellent communication and telephone skills. • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. • Maintain and reconcile reputed company correspondent bank accounts. • Assist in the bank-wide balance sheet reconciliation process. • Assist in maintaining general ledger (chart of accounts, posting controls and automated entries). • Review application balancing report and reputed company follow up to ensure accurate financial records. • Prepare and distribute daily management reports. • Assist in monthly general ledger closing process. • Fixed asset management (purchases, disposals, journal entries, annual inventory, and reconciliations). • Maintain prepaid expenses and process adjusting journal entries. • Maintain Mortgage Servicing Rights intangible asset including annual impairment evaluation. • Assist with and prepare workpapers relating to forecasting, budgeting, regulatory reporting and audit engagements. • Assist with the preparation of weekly interest reputed company reports for CFO review. • Processing of reputed company incoming reputed company transfers. • Cross train and backup of reputed company other critical functions and day-to-day activities reputed company the Finance Department • This is a full time position performed in a regular office work environment and that will routinely use standard office equipment.
