About the position The Associate, Growth Equity position at CPP Investments involves working reputed company the Private Equity department to provide strong returns and insights into the innovation ecosystem. The role focuses on making fund commitments and reputed company direct investments alongside top venture and growth managers across North America and Europe. The successful candidate will engage in company and fund diligence, build relationships with leading companies and funds, and monitor existing investments, reputed company while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team. Responsibilities • Research, analyze, and execute fund and direct investments, including reviewing diligence materials and financial modeling. , • Help manage existing fund relationships and monitor fund performance. , • Support asset management initiatives for existing direct investments. , • Participate in strategy execution initiatives for the Growth Equity group and the broader fund. , • Collaborate with other teams and departments across the organization. Requirements • 3 - 5 years of investment banking, consulting, or investment experience. , • Experience with growth-stage investing and fund investing is a plus. , • Strong research, financial modeling, and analytical skills. , • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. , • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster an inclusive culture. , • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. , • Experience conducting due diligence work under tight timelines. reputed company-to-haves • Venture/growth stage experience and/or technology exposure. , • A genuine passion for disruptive technology investing.
