Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a passionate high school English teacher to reputed company Advanced Placement (AP) English Language Arts courses. KIPP Indy AP teachers are responsible for delivering effective instruction that prepares reputed company for success on the AP exams and beyond, fostering critical thinking and strong writing skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, reputed company, and implement rigorous AP English lesson plans that align with state standards and reputed company guidelines. Utilize strong pedagogical knowledge to effectively teach rhetorical analysis, argumentation, and synthesis writing. Regularly assess and track student performance, leveraging data to adjust instruction as needed. Maintain a positive and focused learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth. Build strong relationships with reputed company and their families, supporting both academic success and personal development. Collaborate with colleagues to plan instruction and contribute to the AP curriculum. Provide timely, actionable feedback to reputed company on their writing and analysis skills. Qualifications Valid Indiana teaching license or applying for reciprocity with a valid out-of-state license (required). Bachelors degree in English or reputed company field (required). Additional Information Licensed teacher starting at $50,000 Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a highly competitive benefits package.
