Job Description
Darden Restaurants, one of the most popular restaurant companies in the US, is seeking a Part-Time Server to join our team in Corbin, KY. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
Responsibilities
– Welcome and directly guide customers to their seats
– Take and serve food/drinks orders and upsell additional products when appropriate
– Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy
– Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
– Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
– Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
– Deliver checks and collect payment
– Cooperate with all serving and kitchen staff
Requirements
– Proven restaurant serving experience
– Hands-on experience in cashier duties
– Familiarity with sanitation regulations
– Proficient in English
– Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
– High school diploma; food safety training is a plus
