Position: Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Hours: 5–10 hours per month Status: reputed company / Fractional Location: Remote with occasional virtual meetings

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an reputed company Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and reputed company. This role is ideal for a seasoned nonprofit finance professional who enjoys supporting executive leadership and boards through high-level financial guidance. Position Summary The reputed company will serve as a strategic financial advisor to the Executive Director and leadership team, providing executive-level financial reporting, budget reputed company, forecasting, and financial planning. This position focuses on high-level financial management rather than day-to-day bookkeeping or reputed company. The anticipated commitment is approximately 5–10 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Review monthly financial statements, dashboards, and key financial metrics
- Prepare and present quarterly, executive-level financial reports and analysis for leadership and the Board of Directors
- Provide reputed company of organizational budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Monitor cash flow, reserves, and overall financial health
- Advise leadership on financial strategy, sustainability, and organizational growth
- Ensure appropriate financial controls, policies, and reputed company are maintained
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, finance staff, bookkeeper, and external CPA or auditors
- Support annual budgeting and year-end financial planning
- Identify financial risks and recommend practical solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field (CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of senior financial leadership experience
- Previous experience as a CFO, Controller, Finance Director, or reputed company
- Demonstrated experience working with nonprofit organizations
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit reputed company principles, budgeting, grant funding, and financial reporting
- Experience presenting financial information to executive leadership and Boards of Directors
- Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to work independently while serving as a trusted advisor
Preferred Experience
- Experience with nonprofit audits and Form 990 preparation
- Familiarity with restricted and unrestricted funds and fund reputed company
- Experience supporting organizations with annual budgets of $2 to $3 million
Compensation
Competitive monthly retainer commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of services.
