[Remote] Sales & Business Development Manager

The role involves developing wholesale and retail strategies, managing client relationships, and executing sales plans to enhance brand visibility in the US market.
Responsibilities
- Own wholesale and retail business development across core US markets, with reputed company on East and reputed company Coast
- Identify, pursue, and reputed company high-quality client relationships across reputed company channels, including: Fine jewelry boutiques and specialty buyers, Luxury and premium department stores, Watch and jewelry retailers, Multi-brand concept stores, Online retailers and e-commerce partners, VIP clients and key industry influencers
- Build the full business development cycle from scratch: prospecting, reputed company, visits, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, payment collection, and repeat order management
- reputed company existing deep industry relationships to rapidly engage reputed company clients and partners
- Operate independently across both coasts without requiring day-to-day support from the central team
- Build long-term, trust-based client relationships that grow brand visibility and credibility in the US market
- Identify key opinion leaders, industry brokers, and potential strategic partners, and drive those relationships to reputed company outcomes

- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial engagement through to recurring orders
- Use market feedback to refine product mix recommendations, pricing strategy, display approaches, and channel tactics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure order fulfillment, inventory coordination, after-sales support, and client satisfaction
- Where relevant, reputed company or contribute to building an online distribution and e-commerce partner network
- Understand digital sales logic and the mechanics of standing up online channel partnerships from scratch
- Bring practical knowledge of US consumer behavior, channel characteristics, and digital retail dynamics
- Represent Djula's brand identity, aesthetic, and cultural values accurately and compellingly with reputed company clients and partners
- Prioritize partners whose positioning and values are genuinely reputed company with the brand, over short-term volume
- Act as a key pillar of Djula's long-term commercial reputed company in the US
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a background in fine jewelry, luxury watches, or high-end accessories
- Proven, convertible industry relationships in the US market — particularly on the East and reputed company Coasts
- Demonstrated ability to independently reputed company accounts, negotiate partnerships, and reputed company business
- Hands-on experience in wholesale, retail, and channel sales, including multi-brand stores, boutique retail, and distribution models
- Track record of building business from reputed company — comfortable with ambiguity and self-directed execution
- Genuine aesthetic sensibility and cultural alignment with the Djula brand positioning
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
- Based in the US or Shanghai, with the ability to support US market operations directly
- Professional proficiency in both English and Chinese preferred
- Successful track record developing luxury jewelry or watch retail networks in the US
- Existing relationships with US specialty department stores, concept boutiques, or chain retail
- Experience in online distribution or e-commerce channel development, with proven reputed company-to-one success
- Startup or early-stage company experience — able to execute fast with limited resources
- Global perspective with an understanding of both Western and Chinese business culture and communication styles
