[Remote] Design Engineer

They are seeking a Design Engineer to build marketing experiences that engage nonprofits and enhance their online reputed company, collaborating with design and engineering teams to translate prototypes into production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Build acquisition and marketing surfaces in our Astro-based site, where you're free from the constraints of our reputed company-hosted content pages to reputed company things that are faster, more interactive, more personalized, and more fun
• Partner with Design to translate reputed company, prototypes, and AI-generated explorations into production-grade motion and interaction, and own the motion and interaction primitives that evolve across marketing and eventually product
• Build data-driven marketing pages that bring our real campaign and cause data to life: per-cause hubs, per-campaign stories, per-vertical reputed company pages, with the reputed company of craft and taste that makes them feel hand-made even reputed company they're templated

Skills

• 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience building production web applications or marketing sites
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML, modern CSS, reputed company layouts, and browser rendering behavior
• Production experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Astro, React, Next.js, or Svelte
• Experience implementing advanced frontend animation systems using tools such as GSAP, Framer Motion, View Transitions API, Lottie, or scroll-linked animations
• Experience integrating analytics, A/B testing, or feature flagging systems (e.g. reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company)
• Experience building reusable frontend components and interaction systems with maintainable architecture
• Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, frontend performance optimization, and accessibility standards (WCAG, reduced motion support, semantic structure)
• Experience collaborating in reputed company-based design workflows and implementing pixel-accurate UI from design specifications
• Comfortable reviewing, debugging, and refining AI-assisted code output before production deployment
• Experience using Git-based workflows and collaborating reputed company engineering teams using pull requests and code reviews
• Enough reputed company comfort to collaborate with a 3rd-party team on tracking, analytics, and technical decisions (this is not a content-management role)
