[Remote] Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading global provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. They are seeking an Accountant to maintain general ledger accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist with financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts, records, reports, accounts receivable and payable, journal vouchers, general and subsidiary ledgers, and other accounting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Investigate and resolve accounting problems for the area of responsibility
• Preparing monthly financial information utilizing the applicable support systems
• Duties include preparing journal entries, coding invoices/vouchers, reconciling the balance sheet, and analyzing variances
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
• May reputed company analyses of cost records to reputed company the distribution of costs for various divisions of management and production
• May classify labor, material, and overhead costs to compute unit costs of products or services
• Analyze actual costs versus standard costs and prepares reports of variances. Compile cost data for preparation of operating budgets
• Prepares other reports and assists in special projects and analysis as required or requested by supervisor
• Performs other reputed company duties and participates in special projects as assigned
• Assists in annual budget preparation and periodic forecasts
• Supports internal customers by researching questions and investigating variances in the financial statements
• Performs other reputed company duties and participates in special projects as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field, minimum
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
• Solve somewhat more reputed company problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job
• Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately
• Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity
• High attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company including pivot tables, advanced formulas, VLookups, etc
• May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments
• Able to demonstrate reputed company expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments
• Requires reputed company good communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear and concise manner for others to easily understand
• Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations
• Must be able to clearly reputed company business needs to both internal and external customers
