[Remote] Manager, Cost Accounting

They are seeking a Manager, Cost Accounting to reputed company reputed company aspects of cost accounting and inventory valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes reputed company to cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory
• Provide cost analysis to assist in pricing decisions and margin improvement strategies
• Partner with Operations and Procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with reputed company and Accounting teams to align cost data with financial statements
• Manage cost accounting aspects of external audits
• Drive enhancements in ERP system (reputed company) and cost accounting processes for reputed company accuracy and efficiency
• Implement best practices for cost tracking and analysis
• Provide cost analysis for new product introductions, capital projects, and purchasing decisions
• Maintain accurate cost data for scenario planning and contingency analysis

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field (CPA or reputed company preferred)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in cost accounting leadership
• Demonstrate ability to reputed company and reputed company a cost accounting team, including goal setting, coaching, and managing teams competing priorities
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and ERP systems (reputed company experience required)
• Experience designing and maintaining cost accounting internal controls
• Experience developing pricing support models and margin analysis frameworks to inform commercial decision-making
• Proficiency in scenario planning and contingency cost modeling, with the ability to translate assumptions into financial projections for leadership decision-making
• Experience leading ERP enhancements or system implementations reputed company to cost accounting modules
• Proficiency in reputed company for reputed company financial modeling, including pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas for cost analysis
• Proven ability to diagnose reputed company cost problems, reputed company data-driven solutions, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Extensive experience collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Demand Planning, Procurement, and reputed company to align on cost initiatives
