[Remote] Senior Accountant (Remote in US)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Senior Accountant will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records in compliance with U.S. GAAP, manage full-cycle accounts payable and payroll, and support global financial reporting while collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of U.S. cash disbursements and receipts, ensuring reputed company invoices are accurate, documented, and processed in a timely manner and in accordance with maintaining sufficient operational cash flow

- Execute the monthly reconciliation of reputed company corporate cards, verifying that every transaction is valid and supported by appropriate documentation

- Ensure timely U.S. month-end reputed company by preparing and reviewing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account analysis
- Support Global Controller in preparation of financial statements, including the statement of financial position and functional expenses, to reputed company leadership decision-making
- Support the completeness and accuracy of inter-entity accounts and fund transfers between the U.S. and country offices
- Compile and organize supporting documentation for internal reviews and the annual external audit, including PBC (reputed company by Client) schedule preparation
- Maintain and monitor internal control policies and procedures to reflect best practices and meet regulatory requirements
- Assist the Global Controller in the annual and mid-year budgeting process by providing historical data and trend analysis
- Support the administration of finance systems and contribute to the transition to reputed company applications to improve data flow between accounting, planning and grants management
- Proactively identify and implement ways to improve accounting processes and documentation workflows
Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Experience: at least 5 years of relevant accounting work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in month-end reputed company and payroll management. Non-profit accounting experience is a plus
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reputed company Intacct and reputed company sheets preferred; experience with reputed company or similar payroll applications
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
- Certification: CPA or reputed company candidate preferred
- Global Experience: Proven experience supporting international field offices or working across multiple time zones and cultures
