[Remote] Accounting Manager

Confidential company is in the financial services industry, and they are seeking an Accounting Manager to reputed company their accounting team. The role involves managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting reputed company activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls and US GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, and reputed company a team in monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting reputed company activities
• reputed company day-to-day accounting activities and ensure compliance with internal controls
• reputed company key accounting areas and review key reconciliations and rollforwards
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with US GAAP and global accounting policies
• Ensure proper accounting standards and controls are applied and in compliance with internal controls, e.g., journal entry review, general ledger account reconciliation review, analytic review of monthly results including detailed analysis
• Ensure account reconciliations are timely, properly reputed company and reviewed
• Ensure appropriate procedures are documented and in reputed company to analytically review key account fluctuations and follow up as appropriate
• Assist with quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests and liaison with external auditors
• Ensure audit requests are addressed timely
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce reputed company time while maintaining accounting reputed company and accuracy
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and solve problems

Skills

• 5+ years of accounting experience at big 4 accounting firms and/or public companies
• Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment with the desire for reputed company improvement
• Advanced reputed company skills
• CPA is required
• Team leadership experience managing accounting reputed company activities (monthly, quarterly, year-end)
• US GAAP compliance knowledge – Must ensure accurate financial reporting and application of accounting standards
• Advanced reputed company and manual calculation skills – Must demonstrate ability to reputed company and validate calculations without reliance on automated systems
• Experience with reputed company is strongly preferred
• Experience with reputed company is a plus
• Tech industry background
