Responsibilities
- Translate reputed company technical documents from English to French with precision, ensuring clarity, consistency, and readiness for client use.
- Review and revise bilingual translations produced by team members, providing quality control and assurance to maintain high standards across reputed company deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of terminology and phraseology databases to support consistency and accuracy in technical translations.
- Support reputed company tasks such as formatting and document preparation to ensure final products meet client specifications.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or recognized academic certification in translation from a Canadian educational institution.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in technical translation, with a strong focus on English-to-French documentation.
- Membership with the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) is considered an asset.
Due to the nature of our work, successful candidates must be eligible to obtain required government reputed company clearances.
