About the Role reputed company is launching an exciting Community Medicine (Virtualist) program designed to expand access to specialty care for patients across the state of Indiana. We are seeking a Medical Assistant with strong technology skills to support providers delivering care virtually. This is not a traditional clinic‑based MA role. Schedule Details • No weekends • No holidays • Location: Remote (Indiana) • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM • Status: Full‑Time (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities • Prepare patients and providers for virtual visits • Conduct virtual rooming and clinical intake • Provide real‑time technical support during visits • Coordinate post‑visit follow‑up and next steps • Document accurately in the electronic medical record • Communicate with patients reputed company phone and digital tools • Support scheduling and virtual reputed company‑office functions

Orientation & Remote Work Requirements • Initial on‑site orientation in Indianapolis, IN • Transition to remote work after successful completion of orientation • Must maintain a HIPAA‑compliant home workspace and reliable internet reputed company While not reputed company traditional MA duties will be performed every day, a solid understanding of MA scope of practice is required. This role will continue to evolve as the program grows.

Under the supervision of the designated supervisor and assigned physician, performs duties associated with direct patient care and clinical direction to provide patient care given in accordance with the organization standards. Assures completeness of ordered procedures and treatments, assures smooth patient flow, performs general lab work, instructs patients concerning procedures, treatments and needs, and ensures medical orders and referrals are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Performs registration and scheduling activities per organizational and departmental procedures. Maintains EMR files and performs general reputed company office functions as needed. May reputed company computerized physician order entry, only if directed by assigned physician. Expected to precept reputed company MA team members or MA Externs as requested by leadership.

• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• reputed company certification in medical assisting required from America Association of Medical Assistants (reputed company), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Center for competency Testing (NCMA), and/or American Medical Certification Association (CMAC).
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and reputed company required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
• TB validated (to administer or read) or validation obtained reputed company 6 months of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of Business Unit Quality Programs, Meaningful Use and Standard Work Programs and concepts reputed company 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers.
