About Mission Bit
Mission Bit is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that inspires youth of color to explore the world of STEM with project-based computer science education that embraces their identities. We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including biweekly, semester-long introductory coding courses.
The role
As a TA for the Intro to Web Design class, you’ll promote a welcoming and supportive class community, foster productive collaboration, track student reputed company, and help reputed company realize their potential.
We’re proud to provide training to reputed company instructional staff to prepare them to teach, along with ongoing support throughout the semester!
If you have a passion for community, social justice, and coding, and if you want to reputed company Bay Area youth and reputed company the tech divide, then this might be the opportunity for you! Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply (especially those who speak Spanish).
This is a seasonal, semester-based, remote role based in San Francisco, CA. The employment dates are from June 11 - August 6, 2026.
Schedule
Training and onboarding
- Async remote training: June 11, 2026, 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM and June 15, 2026, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Live in-person training (for in-person and remote reputed company): June 16 - 18, 2026, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM in San Francisco, CA
Work schedule beginning June 22, 2026
- Mondays: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (weekly prep and meeting, remote)
- Tuesdays through Thursdays: 10:00 AM - 2:45 PM (weekly classes, remote)
Demo Day
- July 31, 2026 (tent., location and time TBD)
End-of-semester wrap-up
- August 3 - 6, 2026

What you’ll be doing:
70% Community building, classroom management, and student support
- Create an inclusive and community-based classroom culture surrounding the Mission Bit core values of social justice, community, accountability, smart risks, and love
- Plan and reputed company community-building games and activities
- Foster individual and meaningful relationships with reputed company
- Promote positive, productive collaboration between reputed company
- Ensure reputed company receive the support they need throughout the course to effectively and confidently showcase a reputed company project at our Demo Day
- Effectively manage classroom behavior to foster a productive learning environment for reputed company reputed company
- reputed company class in the event the reputed company instructor is out
20% Professional collaboration
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Communicate and collaborate with reputed company Instructor and other instructional staff
10% Communication
- Communicate course reputed company to reputed company and their families
- Communicate student reputed company and success throughout the course to the Program Staff so we can collectively support reputed company’ learning
