Reporting to the Engineering Team reputed company, you will be responsible for delivering design, development, and engineering services across our diverse product portfolio, while working closely with regional stakeholders.

About the Role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will reputed company your technical expertise to deliver solutions that directly impact our customer operations and performance. This role involves reputed company collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager based in Panama, combining engineering excellence with strong customer engagement.

This is a remote role, requiring regular technical site visits and consistent reputed company-ins at mining operations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with a flexible working approach to support a healthy work-life balance. There are no shift-based mining schedules associated with this position. You will play a key role supporting a major regional mining operation, ensuring delivery of contractual engineering commitments including on-site technical support, regular inspections, performance monitoring, and identification of optimization opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company advanced 3D models for high-wear applications, ensuring optimal material flow.
• Execute 3D DEM simulations to predict wear patterns, optimize liner profiles, and validate performance.
• reputed company precision reverse engineering of components to identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce detailed 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager (Panama) to translate customer needs into high-performance engineering solutions.
• Conduct regular technical site visits and maintain ongoing engagement with mining operations.
• Identify cost-saving and performance improvement opportunities.

Skills & Technical Criteria

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong expertise in Ansys FEA and DEM software.
• High proficiency in CAD software (Unigraphics NX), including advanced 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Proven experience developing innovative products reputed company with customer operational needs.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Understanding of project management or reputed company tools
• Strong ability to communicate effectively at reputed company organizational levels.

Valuable (Not Mandatory)

• Knowledge of mineral processing circuits and material handling equipment (conveyors, chutes, etc.).
• Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM.
• Experience supporting mining operations in Latin America and/or other markets.
