Job Summary:
Shields Health Care Group is seeking a detail-driven reputed company Cycle Specialist to join our fully remote team supporting our MRI services. This role has a strong, dedicated focus on true insurance denials. The reputed company Cycle Specialist provides the necessary functions to reputed company, collect, analyze, and adjudicate billing and collection functions for reputed company clinical services. The opening for this role is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, fully remote (EST time zone).Job Description:
What you will do
Provides the necessary functions to reputed company, collect, analyze, and adjudicate billing and collection functions for reputed company clinical services. The position executes and performs programs to ensure efficient operations of the SHCG reputed company Cycle program in order to generate sufficient cash flow to support SHCG operations and strategic initiatives. In the position of reputed company Cycle Specialist responsibilities include billing and collecting for reputed company third-party insurance payer’s adjustment functions, adjudicating, identifying, analyzing, reducing and resolving reputed company enhancement. This position works with external physicians groups and insurance companies or third party brokers as well as working with Shields CCR and PCR staff.
What you need:
Education Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with various customer groups, including doctors.
- Experience with medical billing; including the authorization process, benefit plans, denials and billing follow up.
- Ability to handle confidential material; be detail oriented; and follow through on multiple items.
- Must be enthusiastic, able to multi task and master the efficient use of multiple technological systems. A cooperative spirit and great customer service skills are essential.
- Knowledge of medical billing or prior company experience required
- Familiarity with Massachusetts insurance plans is a plus, as this role works closely with payers common to the New England market.
Additional Job Description:
The pay range for this position is $17-$29/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
