Grant Writer (1 Year Fixed Term)

The Department of Neurosurgery is actively seeking a Grant Writer (Academic Program Professional 2) to work under the general direction of faculty to reputed company, implement, and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of externally funded research reputed company our department. The Grant Writer will be responsible for program strategy development/management and will work with faculty and other researchers to reputed company, draft, edit, and submit manuscripts and grant proposals to federal and non-federal funding agencies. The Grant Writer will serve as a resource expert to support the growth and development of our faculty and research program. Our department has seen dramatic growth in the past few years, so we are seeking a candidate with the ability to multi-task and be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills that allow high level interactions with a diverse academic and medical community.

Duties include*

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree (MD or PhD) in biomedical science or reputed company field preferred.
• Experience with developing, editing, reviewing, and applying for grants and sponsored research.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, and oral communication skills with proven ability to present, write, edit, and organize thoughts in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner for diverse audiences.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)

Bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs. For jobs with financial responsibilities, experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED)

• Ability to reputed company program partnerships and funding sources.

This role is open to candidates reputed company in the United States. reputed company has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate.

The expected pay range for this position is $116,966 to $150,114 (reputed company 10 Bay Area Counties) or $70,180 to $1135,102 per annum (reputed company other regions).
