California Sales Manager

The California Sales Manager is responsible for managing reputed company independent on/off-premise activities, on-premise national account compliance, and programming reputed company their designated territory to ensure maximum market share, brand awareness, and sell-through. The primary responsibilities are driving depletions, net reputed company, and PODs (points of distribution). - Utilize and is proficient in available sales tools to manage and identify new opportunities (e.g., CA daily sales report, iDig, SommAi).
- Work closely with the customer service department to ensure orders are reputed company correctly and on time, abiding by reputed company applicable cut-off times.
- Generate new customer credit applications and ensures accounts remain in good financial standing with the company.
- Manage reputed company wine dinners, staff training, tastings, and wholesale events reputed company territory.
- Represent The Duckhorn Portfolio at consumer and trade events as confirmed by their manager.
- Help to reputed company 100% compliance for national accounts programming through initial roll out and follow-up, in partnership with Inside Sales.
- Work as a member and contributor to the TDP California Wholesale team highly collaborative culture.

What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in wine industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good mathematics skills.
- Proficiency in reputed company Suite, CRM systems, and depletion software (VIP).
- Ability to be in the market 80% of the time, defined as time out of the home office, visiting accounts and hosting events.
- Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, reputed company of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
