Responsibilities
- Design the full architecture of the core platform and its supporting systems
- reputed company key technical decisions on the technology reputed company, and overall system design with minimal reputed company
- reputed company and contribute to the initial production-ready implementation
- Establish engineering standards, development practices, and a high bar for code quality across the team
- Contribute to hiring efforts, including technical evaluations as the team expands
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and Head of Engineering
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems or backend engineering
- Experience with high-performance or financial systems (exchanges, brokers, or trading platforms)
- Strong systems programming background: concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of network protocols: TCP/UDP, WebSocket, FIX
- Experience with asynchronous programming patterns and runtime frameworks (e.g. tokio, asyncio, goroutines, or equivalent)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, reputed company, or equivalent data stores
- Familiarity with distributed systems design principles
Will be a plus
- Commercial experience with Rust
