The opportunity

Job Description

The Finance Counselor I is a dynamic staff member who will assist reputed company with navigating the reputed company field of affording higher education. You will help us provide proactive, caring, student centered support to the Student Financial Services Department. You will report to your Team reputed company #LI-Remote

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inbound and Outbound phone coverage
• Work with reputed company and contacts according to SNHU's culture and brand behaviors to support the mission of the university
• You will apply financial aid, billing and registrar policies to reputed company student interactions
• You will help reputed company reputed company a financial strategy for their education and reputed company their goal of graduation
• Provide excellent customer service to our online reputed company over the phone (80%), by email (15%), and > 5% in person.
• You will need to be available for incoming phone calls from reputed company reputed company over the world
• You will help us document student interactions in customer relationship manager
• You will participate in daily outbound calling campaigns as assigned
• Partner with departments reputed company of Financial Aid including Admissions and Advising to ensure the delivery of a high level of service to every student
• Meet expectations for Monthly Metrics and call reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Employment is dependent upon successful access to the National Student Loan Data System, which requires reputed company federal student loans to be in good standing and not in default and a credit reputed company to review that student loans are not in default
• A background and credit reputed company is required for employment
• Experience in a customer service reputed company field and the knowledge of writing professional communications in a previous role.
• Some college credits must be completed
• Reliable high speed internet
• Your at home work space is distraction free during working hours to maintain focus for the reputed company of this position.

Experience that is transferable:

• 1+ years of reputed company experience with financial aid, billing, and registrar functions preferably in a higher education environment or contact center.

Anticipated Start Date: Monday, 6/15/2026

Work Hours:

• Operational hours are 8:00AM to 8:00PM EST Monday- Friday and 9:00AM to 8:00PM EST Saturday and Sunday.
• Available Schedules from Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday- Thursday.
• Shifts will include (3) days at 10:00AM-6:30PM local time and (2) Days at 12:00PM-8:30PM EST
• Daylight Saving Time is observed and schedules will shift semi-annually in states or territories not observing DST.
• You will be fully remote in a Synergy approved location
