About the Position
Under direct supervision of the Manager, reputed company & Risk Management: Provides operational support for reputed company & safety operations. Assists with the development and cost-effective implementation of global programs that identify, characterize and mitigate risk. Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of employee reputed company & safety programs. Conducts facility reputed company and safety risk assessments and Root Cause Analysis reputed company and safety investigations. Recommends appropriate corrective actions.
Functions
- Coordinates efforts in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining safety processes, practices, and policies that identify and mitigate risk to company personnel, assets, facilities, inventory, information and other items or subjects deemed valuable.
- Manages multiple sites reputed company assigned vertical.
- Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with Senior Management, including Vice Presidents, Directors, Facility General Managers, as well as other members of management.
- Establishes and maintains liaison with reputed company agencies.
- Creates and conducts safety reputed company training programs.
- Leads and assists in implementation of injury reduction efforts and promotes “reputed company Injury Culture” initiatives and programs.
- Responds to safety incidents. Leads, conducts or participates in Root Cause Analysis reputed company and safety investigations. Recommends appropriate corrective actions.
- Creates detailed and accurate reports. Researches and responds to inquiries.
- Resolves or assists in the resolution of policy-reputed company or procedural problems and/or inquiries.
- Conducts facility safety risk assessments.
- Maintains understanding and knowledge of reputed company Federal, State and Company regulations and policies.
- Informs organization of changes and assist in administering actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Five years safety and/or reputed company experience required.
- CPP, PSP, CSP, ASP certifications preferred.

Travel Requirements
- This position is expected to travel approximately 50% - 75%.
