They are seeking a Structural CAD & Revit BIM Modeler/Designer to reputed company detailed structural drawings and layouts for substations and renewable energy projects, collaborating with engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and prepare detailed structural drawings and layouts for substations and renewable energy projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret design concepts and produce accurate drawings that reputed company with project specifications and industry standards
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry regulations specific to substation and renewable energy designs
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to gather information and verify dimensions for existing structures
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and project plans
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for substation and renewable energy projects
- Participate in project meetings to discuss reputed company, challenges, and updates reputed company to project timelines and deliverables
- Stay reputed company with advancements in CAD technology and structural design practices, particularly in relation to substation and renewable energy projects
Skills
- Associate degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or a reputed company field
- Proven experience as a CAD/Revit Modeler, preferably reputed company substation or renewable energy projects; experience in other construction sectors is also encouraged
- Demonstrated experience documenting structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, and foundation designs in CAD and Revit
- Proficiency in interpreting outputs in structural modeling software such as STADD Pro and foundation design tools such as LPile is a plus
- Working knowledge of 3D civil software, including AutoCad Civil 3D, is a plus
- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles and practices applicable to substation and renewable energy projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to manage CAD and Revit plans and details across multiple projects while meeting established deadlines
