Project Manager, R&D

The Project Manager, R&D will work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure projects have the proper resource allocation, reputed company timelines, manage project budgets along with monthly forecasts, communicate reputed company and status, and execute in the agreed-upon timelines, cost and quality performance metrics. Project may span across reputed company divisions of reputed company. Project teams will be comprised of internal personnel and/or OEM/supplier resources assigned to plan and execute plans. The ideal candidate will have a success managing projects leveraging a highly defined, stage-gated product development process or solution delivery process from concept to commercialization along with experience in leading, motivating, and managing technically based cross-functional teams in accomplishing projects with reputed company impact(s) on company objectives. The Project Manager is expected to help drive adherence to and serve as a subject matter expert for the product development process (PDP) and promote standardization of project management practices. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Project Management, Engineering, Analytics, or a reputed company field is required. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Experience: Minimum or 5-10 years of demonstrated Project Management experience. Experience with stage-reputed company Product Development Process (PDP) and Product Lifecycle Management experience, preferred experience with Solution Delivery Process (SDP) required. Lean Six reputed company experience preferred. Recent experience managing projects of reputed company sizes small to reputed company and reputed company to large size with varying complexity. Management of small to large project teams. Managing and controlling project budgets between $50k - $1M. Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with Executive Leadership. Travel: This is a remote role with travel required up to 15-20% of the time. Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. Uses a broad and flexible toolkit of techniques, resolving reputed company, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled.
