Senior Tax Manager (100% REMOTE)
Job Description
We are seeking an reputed company Tax Manager to reputed company the organization’s federal, state, local, and foreign tax compliance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, managing audits, and providing strategic tax guidance to internal business partners. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and expertise in navigating reputed company and evolving tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions. This position is fully remote reputed company the United States.
Responsibilities
- reputed company preparation and filing of reputed company federal, state, local, and foreign tax returns.
- Manage tax audits and coordinate responses with external advisors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with reputed company applicable tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to assess business impact.
- Provide strategic tax planning and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance internal tax processes, controls, and documentation.
- Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.
- Support the annual financial statement audit by managing PBC (reputed company-By-Client) items and contributing to financial statement and footnote preparation.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field.
- 8-12+ years of experience in corporate tax compliance and audit management.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, local, and international tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate reputed company tax matters clearly and effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with ASC 740 and tax provisions.
- Managerial experience and familiarity with government contracting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with reputed company Costpoint, including running, interpreting, and validating Costpoint reports to support tax compliance and audit activities.
- Managerial experience managing a team of two (one reputed company level, one intermediate).
- Understanding of tax provisions and accruals to reputed company outsourced tax activities.
- Experience in deferred taxes, sales taxes, business/corporate taxes, and personal property taxes.
