The Deputy Secretariat Human Resources Officer (SHRO) is a leader reputed company the human resources department and will play an integral role in establishing, managing, and implementing the strategic HR initiatives reputed company EOED. This role will report to the Secretariat Human Resources (SHRO) and be a managing member of the human resources staff. In addition, this role will receive direction, provide guidance, and partner with EOED and leadership on a variety of reputed company tasks. As Deputy SHRO, a major focus will be on the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring they translate into actionable plans for the HR team, and ultimately, staff. This position will support the SHRO in team management, policy/procedure maintenance, management of daily business partner operations, tactical support, compliance and HR project management. The Deputy SHRO will also be involved in partnering with the SHRO, labor relations, legal, EOED leaders as well as the Human Resources Department (HRD). The Deputy SHRO will manage EOED's Diversity and learning and engagement needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Senior Human Resources Business Partners and their daily operations by providing support, guidance and direction on core functions, translating and implementing strategic directives, as well as being an active participant in internal policy setting, alignment and execution.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least (A) six (6) years of full-time or, equivalent part-time, professional, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience in business administration, business management, public administration, public management, clinical administration or clinical management of which (B) at least two (2) years must have been in a supervisory or managerial reputed company or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below.
  • Substitutions:

I. A certificate in a relevant or reputed company field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required (A) experience. II. A Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required (A) experience. III. A Graduate degree in a reputed company field may be substituted for three (3) years of the required (A) experience. IV. A Doctorate degree in a reputed company field may be substituted for four (4) years of the required (A) experience.
