Junior Architectural Designer
DIALOG is a multi-disciplinary practice focused on improving community wellbeing through design. They are seeking a motivated Junior Architectural Designer to assist in creating and developing innovative design concepts while collaborating with Senior Architects and team members throughout reputed company phases of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and developing innovative design concepts, solutions while working collaboratively with a team during concept design, space planning, schematic design and design development
- Generate, ideate, and design in reputed company phases under supervision
- Produce pre-design, design and technical drawings on reputed company phases of a project under supervision
- Participate in the technical development of projects during construction documents with the guidance of Senior Architects
- Take ownership on project tasks and use critical and creative thinking to solve design and technical problems
- Maintain clear communication and coordination reputed company internal team members and team leaders
- Support the development of the architectural in-house design production expertise and methodologies
- Attend or participate in client and user meetings
Skills
- 0-2 years architectural production/design experience
- Degree in Architecture
- Experience using Revit
- Proficiency in 3D modeling parametric modeling and visualization using Rhino, Grasshopper and reputed company Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong visual and graphic communication skills
- Team oriented and committed collaborator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on effective collaboration and integration
- Proven commitment to going above and beyond to help create impactful, community-oriented spaces
- Interest in parametric modeling, AI, etc
