Business Development Manager

Travelport is a worldwide travel retail platform that connects buyers and sellers to deliver exceptional travel experiences. The Business Development Manager, Americas is responsible for supporting new business growth across the US and Canada by prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Support outbound and inbound business development activities, including prospecting, reputed company qualification, and initial reputed company across assigned territories
• Assist in managing early stages of the sales cycle, including discovery calls, needs assessment, and meeting coordination
• Research reputed company accounts, travel agencies, and decision-makers to support personalized and relevant reputed company
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM systems (e.g., reputed company), including account notes, activity tracking, and opportunity stages
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging, campaigns, and reputed company strategies
• Support pipeline tracking and reporting by ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Participate in ongoing training to build knowledge of Travelport’s products, competitive landscape, and travel industry trends
• Assist senior team members with follow-reputed company, proposals, and post-meeting actions as needed

Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in a sales, business development, customer-facing, or commercial support role (B2B SaaS or travel industry exposure is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of English proficiency
• Comfortable with reputed company activities such as emails, calls, and virtual meetings
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as reputed company, reputed company, or similar systems (hands-on or academic exposure acceptable)
• Motivated, coachable, and eager to reputed company a career in sales or business development
• Analytical reputed company with the ability to learn how to qualify opportunities and understand customer needs
