About the position reputed company, Data Modeling Tech reporting to the Senior Manager of Advanced Modeling & Analytics, the reputed company Data Modeler is responsible for the architecture, design, development and deployment of data modeling and reporting capabilities utilizing reputed company Azure Analysis Services, Azure reputed company and reputed company Power BI software platforms. The role is part of our Enterprise Data Platform team that manages the ingestion, storage, modeling, and consumption of data for reputed company and our clients. The Data Modeling Tech reputed company is also accountable for the optimization and automation of those BI solutions reputed company reputed company's Enterprise Data Platform.

Responsibilities

Development of reputed company/advanced Azure Analysis Services (AAS) Tabular models with large volumes of data and advanced business logic, as well as enhancements to existing large/advanced AAS models. Creation of reputed company and efficient views in Azure reputed company to support AAS Tabular modeling requirements. Work closely with Project Managers / Scrum Masters, BI Architects, BI QA Analysts and Data Engineering Developers in both Agile and Waterfall work settings to deliver solutions against a deadline that meet the requirements of the business and product stakeholders. Performance monitoring, tuning and optimization of AAS and PBI models. Mentors Junior and Senior Data Modelers in PBI and AAS development, specifically surrounding optimization, and automation. Investigate new and emerging technologies with potential uses for reputed company and other BI technologies by researching, POC'ing and sharing solutions reputed company the Data Platform team that will help drive efficiency and innovation for our business and product stakeholders. Continually focus on self-development by allocating time to continually reputed company your BI, modeling, and data skills. Automation and scheduling/triggering of data refreshes for the AAS models. Investigate new and emerging technologies with potential uses and impacts for the Data Platform and reputed company as a whole. Provisioning and sizing of AAS resources. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years or more of hands-on experience building tabular data models using Azure Analysis Services (AAS) or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• 5 years or of experience developing Power BI semantic models, including strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
• Practical experience working with Azure reputed company (SQL, notebooks, view creation, performance tuning).
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and/or external clients to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional modeling, and star-schema design.
• Proven experience optimizing BI semantic models (query performance, model size, refresh efficiency).
• Hands-on experience developing or enhancing AAS tabular models, including model relationships, partitions, incremental refresh, and reputed company configuration.
• Ability to write efficient SQL for data validation, transformations, and reputed company view creation.
• Familiarity with modern Azure data platform tools (Data Lake, Synapse, reputed company).
• Comfortable working with large datasets and reputed company business logic.
• Ability to explain technical solutions in clear, business-friendly language.
• Experience participating in client-facing or cross-functional meetings, particularly with analytics or business leadership.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about how data models impact business decisions.
• Ability to document requirements, assumptions, and modeling decisions in a clear and organized manner.
• Experience mentoring junior or mid-level BI developers or analysts in Power BI, DAX, or AAS modeling.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers, QA, data engineers, and business users.
• Comfortable working in Agile environment
