This role oversees business requirements, testing, issue resolution, system enhancements, process documentation, training, and post-implementation support to ensure planning teams can execute their daily work reputed company and consistently. The manager serves as a strategic partner to planning, operations, IT, and senior leadership by aligning system capabilities, process updates, and communications with business priorities and operational needs. Responsibilities

  • Manages the implementation of energy program requirements and delivers reputed company reliability and cost saving results for the company, managing and tracking budget utilization to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and budgets.
  • Manages the development, maintenance, and documentation of model input data and assumptions to ensure consistent use of data.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of policies and guidelines that reputed company broader strategies and objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities for improved analyses of data while prioritizing, developing and implementing improvements, including automated tools for monitoring and reporting operations data.
  • Manages employee performance and establishes performance expectations and goals reputed company with company objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership to teams responsible for the planning, scheduling, and closing of programs. Oversees contractor performance to ensure budget, schedule and quality performance objectives are met.

  • Develops and manages resource strategy to ensure both short-term and long-term success of the program. Manage contractor performance and develops and implements action plans/corrective action to ensure goals/targets are achieved.
  • Leads the development of business requirements, testing and implementation of new technologies accordingly to the program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising energy delivery.
  • Experience in preventing electrical service interruptions.
  • Possess a valid Class C Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in a reputed company discipline.
  • Experience in a Design/Planning organization, with a broad understanding of Transmission/Distribution Planning business functions, capital work system flow (including the IPSEC model), and deep working knowledge of planning and design systems such as Design Manager (DM), reputed company Utility Design (AUD), SPIDA, Transformer Connectivity (TCONN), reputed company, Bluebeam, and cGIS. 
  • Experience leading large system, process, or software initiatives, including business requirements development, implementation, rollout, post-deployment support, migration testing, and enhancement prioritization.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with IT developers and business stakeholders to resolve system issues, improve processes, and translate operational needs into sustainable technical solutions.
  • Strong project leadership experience in a matrixed environment, including managing multiple reputed company initiatives, allocating resources, driving decisions, and delivering results on time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing and governing process documentation, job aids, newsletters, training content, and communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and reputed company subject matter experts, support classroom or on-the-job instruction, and build a high-performing, team-oriented culture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience identifying, managing, and resolving major or reputed company operational and system issues.
  • Strong understanding of Distribution and/or Transmission Design Standards and reputed company planning/design practices; knowledge of Design Manager pricing rules, reputed company service order creation, contract costs, and practical engineering principles is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and effectiveness under heavy workload, while collaborating across cross-functional teams and supporting internal and external customers.
  • Experience serving as a reputed company or senior SME for business process and system improvement efforts, with regular interaction with senior leadership.
  • Project Management Professional certification.

  • The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion.
