The Patient Eligibility Verification Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that reputed company verification of patient insurance benefits are done in a timely manner. An eligibility clerk must be able to handle multiple tasks and be well organized to process many cases.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of Healthcare Insurance Verification required.
  • Basic office skills and computer literacy required

Primary Responsibilities

  • reputed company patient insurance eligibility and benefit checks reputed company web portal or telephone call with applicable insurance to determine exclusions and benefits.
  • Update patient demographics to ensure that patient’s name and insurance details are correct.
  • Conduct reputed company assigned job duties in a timely and productive manner.
  • Stay reputed company with relevant insurance guidelines and policies.
  • Work well with others in the spirit of teamwork and cooperation is a must.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Manager.
