Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales and supporting various sales channels within the organization for Genea’s physical access control product. This position requires a proactive individual who can align with Senior Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), support enterprise-level engagements, and manage reseller accounts for support and onboarding. The successful candidate will lead specific channel accounts, develop an operating model for daily interactions with Senior RSMs, manage opportunities, provide accurate forecasts, and ensure the successful closing and quoting of opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Align with Senior RSMs in the field:
    • Collaborate closely with Senior RSMs in your assigned regions to understand channel needs and align sales strategies accordingly.
    • Maintain regular communication with Senior RSMs to ensure alignment of sales goals and customer requirements.
  2. Support in the Enterprise:
    • Provide sales support for enterprise-level accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and engagement, as needed.
    • Assist in the development and execution of enterprise sales strategies.
  3. Support the Management of Reseller Accounts
    • Assist the Regional Sales Managers with specific channel accounts, driving sales activities and ensuring targets are set and met.
    • Build strong relationships with channel partners to foster long-term collaboration.
    • Ensure all sellers know and understand Genea and our core value propositions.
  4. Build an operating model with Senior RSMs for day-to-day interactions:
    • Develop and implement an operating model for daily/weekly interactions with RSMs to streamline communication and coordination.
    • Ensure that processes and workflows are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Manage opportunities and provide forecasts:
    • Track and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support business planning and decision-making for SaaS, HW and Setup fees.
  6. Closing Opportunities:
    • Drive the closing process for sales opportunities, ensuring all necessary steps are completed to secure deals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any obstacles to closing.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual individual sales targets; as well as support the broader enterprise Security sales team with meeting its overall sales targets
  7. Quoting Opportunities:
    • Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive quotes to resale partners
    • Ensure all quotes are aligned with company policies and pricing strategies.
  8. Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers in assigned regions.
    • Manage expansions and upsell opportunities by uncovering additional needs and use cases.
    • Troubleshoot issues and resolve escalations quickly to keep accounts stable and supported.
    • Coordinate internally as needed to get customers timely answers and keep deployments moving.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with reseller and channel partners.
    • Track account activity and expansions within CRM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in physical access control or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, LinkedIn and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday.
  • Some travel may be required to attend meetings, training sessions, or customer meetings

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 base salary + $50,000 target commission

The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role's requirements and market conditions. The final offer may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
