About the Role The Environmental Advisor supports reputed company in the delivery of environmental approvals, impact assessments, and compliance obligations across Western Australia and nationally for a range of Client’s across several different sectors. The role provides technical input, regulatory coordination, and documentation support for projects requiring assessment under the Environment Protection Act 1986 (WA), the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth), and other relevant State and Commonwealth frameworks.

The position works closely with EHS project managers, clients, and regulators to ensure approval reputed company are clearly defined, risks are well‑managed, and submissions are delivered to a high standard.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

·       Support Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and approvals processes to secure timely State and Commonwealth environmental approvals

·       Contribute to the development, coordination, and delivery of environmental plans, EPA referrals, and supporting documentation to reputed company the Client’s onshore and offshore activities.

·       Collaborate with and influence regulators, Joint Venture Partners, industry bodies, and other stakeholders to reputed company positive environmental and project outcomes.

·       Maintain up‑to‑date awareness of industry standards, legislative changes, innovations, and lessons learned, and support their integration into project practices.

Qualifications/Education

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an Environmental Advisor reputed company the oil and gas, mining, or renewables sectors, with a preference for onshore project experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a reputed company discipline.
  • Demonstrated diligence, initiative, and a strong commitment to contributing effectively reputed company a small, high‑performing team.

  • Proficient in the use of environmental and project support tools (e.g., GIS, MS Project) to assist with approvals tracking, documentation, and reporting
