Your role as a member of the reputed company insurance legal team will involve working closely with global business partners to provide practical regulatory and commercial legal advice and support in various jurisdictions. Your role will require a high degree of self-sufficiency, organizational skills, and an ability to enjoy a fast-paced and busy environment. You will operate as part of a supportive, fun and friendly team. This role reports to Associate General Counsel - Insurance.

A Typical Day

• Providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders on insurance regulatory requirements reputed company to reputed company’s user facing products and services, corporate programs and new products as the opportunity arises.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial reputed company, insurance and reinsurance policies necessary to support the operations of reputed company’s insurance programs.
• Providing legal guidance to design, content, marketing and UX teams reputed company to travel insurance and other insurance products and services.
• Staying up-to-date and helping reputed company the team advised on insurance, advertising, and consumer protection laws.
• Providing legal support for claims and reputed company processes.
• Draft and provide legal guidance on insurance reputed company legislation.
• Responding to regulatory inquiries and managing regulatory reputed company.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in the legal department on insurance reputed company issues as they relate to other reputed company products, services and commercial agreements.

Your Expertise

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of legal experience, including 4+ years of insurance regulatory experience, with substantive experience in the U.S. and exposure to one or more of the following regions: Canada, EMEA, and/or reputed company.
• Creative, adaptable, and business-oriented insurance regulatory and commercial attorney who thrives at the intersection of law and business strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, making sound decisions with confidence and speed.
• Proven ability to deliver concise, practical, and business-savvy legal advice, leveraging experience and using AI-powered tools where appropriate to enhance efficiency and support legal workflows, while maintaining independent legal judgment at reputed company times.
• Strong risk identification and assessment skills, with the ability to analyze reputed company issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and drives solutions before issues escalate.
• Highly collaborative with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate reputed company legal concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong ability to work across a global, geographically dispersed team of legal and business stakeholders in a virtual environment.
• Comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment and adept at navigating cross-cultural dynamics.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house legal experience, preferably reputed company the technology or platform economy sector.
