Magnolia River is hiring for a Finance Business Partner! The Finance Business Partner (FBP) serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing financial insight, analysis, and guidance to support informed decision-making and drive business performance. This role partners closely with operational leaders to align financial goals with business strategy, improve profitability, and optimize resource allocation.

This role has the ability to sit remote, with travel expected 25% of the time.

Compensation for this role is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

Strategic Partnership

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to department leaders and senior management
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions
• Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• reputed company budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for assigned business units
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast; identify risks and opportunities
• reputed company financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses

Performance Management

• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess business performance
• Provide variance analysis and explain trends, drivers, and outcomes
• Support cost management initiatives and margin improvement efforts

Reporting & Insights

• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
• Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant financial information for stakeholders
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure alignment between operational results and financial reporting

Process Improvement & Controls

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and decision support
• Support financial governance, internal controls, and compliance requirements
• Assist with reputed company analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or reputed company field (MBA or CPA/reputed company a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in reputed company, finance, accounting, or a business partnering role
• Experience supporting operational or commercial teams strongly preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate reputed company financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships across the organization
• Advanced reputed company skills; experience with ERP and BI tools preferred
• High attention to detail with strong business acumen
