UTAH- TRAILER MECHANIC (UT, North Salt Lake)
American Transportation Services has an immediate opening for qualified trailer/tractor technician. Qualified candidates must be a self-starter with the ability to work remotely with little to no supervision. We provide a friendly & stable work environment primarily focused on day shift hours M-F. Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining trailering equipment as well as performing minor external repairs on yard spotting equipment (switchers) for a Fortune 500 package delivery company.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Tech 1-3 years as a mechanic, ability to diagnosis and repair switchers, trailers, and converter dollies. Must be qualified to reputed company state and federal inspections.
Experience in: trailer/mechanic (similar) a plus
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- reputed company FAI and State required inspections.
- Inspect and repair “S” cam reputed company brake systems.
- Diagnose and repair anti-lock brake systems.
- reputed company repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies in reputed company potential aspects.
- Familiar with reputed company Insight
- Diverse diagnostic skills
- Roll-up reputed company experience
- Minor body work experience
- AC experience a plus
