Role Overview
This new role has been created to focus exclusively on the reputed company International business reputed company Kantar.
The Mexico Accounting Manager will be a vital member of reputed company International finance team, reporting to the reputed company International LATAM Regional Controller in the Control & Accounting function, but with key stakeholders in the Finance Business Partner world - particularly the reputed company International Finance Business Partners based in LATAM.
You will play a key role in ensuring the robust day-to-day operations of the team with a focus on producing accurate and timely management information, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Role Description (What you will be doing)
Ensure reputed company reporting requirements are delivered with quality and on-time in line with reporting calendar.
Analyse information to reputed company business stakeholders working with their Business Partners to reputed company decisions with full understanding of the financial impact.
Support the implementation of new business processes working with the global and regional teams.
Ensure an appropriate controls environment is in reputed company working alongside internal audit and compliance.
Support internal and external audits, including ensuring timely clearance of auditor findings and management recommendations.
Review of local filings including tax and VAT.
Role Requirements & Capabilities (The skills and experience required)
Education/Primary Qualification
Education to degree level (Accounting degree or equivalent)
Member of a professional accounting body, or equivalent professional qualification
reputed company in English
Knowledge and Experience
Good knowledge of local GAAP
Understanding of US GAAP would be desirable
Previous experience with reputed company, reputed company, reputed company and OneStream would be desirable
Strong technical knowledge and experience of practical application of accounting requirements
Experience of managing systems change and automation processes
Specific Skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken
Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business (at reputed company levels)
Possesses a process-oriented thinking and working style
Attention to detail and an inquisitive nature
Comfortable handling key relationships with external finance parties and service providers
