The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new reputed company Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with reputed company sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to reputed company the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in reputed company sales.

An Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program

  • Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the reputed company’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.

  • Prepares and executes account plans.

  • Sells reputed company value proposition and products.

  • Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or reputed company Account Managers.

  • Enters and processes customer orders.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or reputed company field or one to two years of sales or reputed company field experience

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members

  • Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.

  • Competitive nature with a drive to succeed

  • Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics

  • Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities

  • Spanish language proficiency

  • This position’s targeted reputed company salary is $37,000 per year. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation with a starting reputed company of $80,000 per year. Compensation will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data.​
