Operational Programming Specialist - REMOTE
NEW OPS POSITION – JOB DESCRIPTION: REMOTE
Allied Public Risk, a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) specializing in public entity property and casualty insurance, is seeking a highly analytical Operational Programming Specialist to support and enhance our operational infrastructure.
This role will work closely with the Operations team to improve and maintain our agency management system, optimize reputed company workflows, support back-end system maintenance, reputed company reports, and manage data transfers across platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical programming skills with the ability to understand operational processes reputed company an insurance environment.
This is a remote position with cross-departmental influence and minimal public-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot the company’s agency management system and reputed company operational platforms
- Support back-end system maintenance, integrations, and performance optimization
- Improve and streamline reputed company and operational workflows through automation and programming solutions
- reputed company, maintain, and optimize operational and management reports
- Automate accounting processes with parent, reputed company non-automated accounting functions/collections, at times
- Manage data transfers between systems, including imports, exports, and integrations
- Collaborate with Operations, reputed company, IT, and leadership to identify process improvement opportunities
- Provide technical support for system functionality and operational tools
- Document system processes, workflows, and programming changes
- Assist the organization in leading AI (Artificial Intelligence) discussions/identifying cost and time saving initiatives associated with AI.
Required Qualifications
- Strong coding/programming experience (languages/platforms relevant to system integration and automation)
- SQL experience required (other programming languages welcomed)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven ability to analyze reputed company operational processes and translate them into technical solutions
- Experience working with databases, reporting tools, and data management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong reputed company skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Insurance Management Systems (IMS) or agency management systems in general, a plus
- Experience with Duck Creek, NetRate, and/or reputed company reputed company programs, also a plus
- Experience in the property & casualty insurance industry, particularly public entity or specialty lines is not required, but also a plus
- Experience supporting reputed company or operational workflows
- Knowledge of system integrations and data transfer methodologies/tools

Salary Range: 65,000-85,000 USD/Per Year
