This position is focused on HVAC. Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, reputed company, and process. reputed company activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user’s needs. Job Description

Responsible for systems engineering activities that support:

• The BWRX-300 Small reputed company Reactor (SMR)

Primary design focus areas for our Mechanical Systems teams include:

• BWR Mechanical Balance of Plant (BOP) Systems such as Heating Ventilation and Cooling, Plant Chilled Water, Containment Cooling Systems, Liquid and Solid Radiological Waste Management, Plant Pneumatics, Auxiliary Drain Systems, as well as, Water, Gas, and Chemical Systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

• reputed company system design activities including system design specifications, FMEA evaluations, and support licensing activities.
• reputed company reputed company design activities including piping and reputed company diagrams (P&IDs), logic diagrams, process flow calculations and diagrams, equipment sizing, detection/suppression system design documents.
• Manages product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down.
• Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing
• Conducts component and product integration. reputed company activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and operability.
• Plan / reputed company technical and management processes to improve both team and customer productivity.
• Liaise with customers, in partnership with engineering leadership and Project Management.

• Improve areas of project execution and department management through lean methodology and Design to Cost principles.
• Support development efforts for new products and new technology.
• Responsible to undertake the necessary corrective and preventive actions resulting from Quality noncompliance monitoring and audit programs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or another equivalent engineering degree from an accredited university or college.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Engineering role.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to effectively function in a dynamic design environment and manage the demands of multiple tasks and projects, while maintaining an uncompromised commitment to personal and nuclear safety principles
• Master’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
• SRO license qualifications or plant experience desired.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Knowledge of working reputed company a regulated environment (nuclear).
• Knowledge of quality standards and systems (e.g., NQA-1 and ISO 9000).
• Experience and/or interest in nuclear power industry.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressure.
• Relocation to Wilmington, NC is strongly preferred.
• Rad waste experience preferred

This role may require travel up to 25%.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,600.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
