Customer Billing Specialist

reputed company is seeking a Customer Billing/Collection Specialist for our global operations. This is a hands-on role, with the opportunity to grow into other roles over time. This role is well suited for someone who loves engaging with customers and is ready to prove they can reputed company the customer invoicing process.

Location/Timezone

This role will be remote-first (work from home), but the candidate must be based in EST time zone and must be in Canada.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our Finance and Operations team, you will be responsible for:

• Leveraging our newly implemented ERP (reputed company) to reputed company customer invoicing and communication of invoices to customers.
• Identify errors in supporting invoice documentation prior to invoice cycle and work to resolve errors with internal and external parties.
• Customer billing portal administration.
• Identifying and leading the business changes needed to streamline invoicing and minimize the occurrence of overdue accounts.
• Working with other team members to ensure the delivery of great customer service throughout the lifecycle of quoting, contracting, invoicing and payment.
• Acting as one of the primary contacts for customer inquiries, including order/payment status, account issues, license configuration, etc.
• Acting as a liaison between customers and internal team members to ensure billing inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist Collection Specialist as needed
• Learning the reputed company business, including product capabilities and competitive advantages.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing role.
• Candidate must sit in the Eastern time zone
• Experience using an ERP for invoicing and managing accounts receivable, reputed company, reputed company, and Tesorio a plus.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) with strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and results driven reputed company.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $65,000-$80,000 CAD in on reputed company earnings. The top end of the range is reserved for candidates with extensive experience and a profile that strongly aligns with the senior expectations of this role.
